Perfectly Balanced

Hello all and happy Friday! It’s time for a brand new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and even though it’s Anything Goes the team are showing some creations that are Anything but a Card.

I have made a wall hanging using the digi image January - Perfectly Balanced and papers from the Helga Hippo Big Kahuna VIP Download Bundle:

And I added a sentiment written on the computer.

Noelle’s Gift

Morning all. I’ve been struggling with a flu bug for the past couple of days so I’m resting and catching up on a few computer things today

Before the bug hit me I made a card for the new November challenge over at the  Conie Fong Art & Design FB Group. This month we want to see Anything Goes or use Flowers

One of Conie’s newest images is the gorgeous Noelle’s Gift and she was the perfect choice for this make:

I’ve gone a bit floral, with poinsettias on the papers, image and added die cuts as well!

This definitely isn’t a card for posting in the mail though as it has a little too much dimension lol

By the Sea

Morning all. I have a sneaky peak today of some new Cherry Green stamps that will be launching on Hochanda on 26th July at 10am.

I tried something a little out of my comfort zone on this make. I wanted to incorporate stamp into a picture:

I found the old canvas picture in a charity shop for £1…bargain. So I painted over it with a mix of emulsion tester pots and acrylics to create the background. I then stamped in the little girl with Weathered Wood Distress Ink and painted her in flat block colours (painting over the details). Once dry I re-stamped the girl to add back the details, which I enhanced with ColourBlend pencils.

Pretty Peony

Afternoon all. Sara Davies and Crafters Companion had some fabulous shows on HSN on Tuesday and in amongst all the fabulous products were the Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils 12 Pencil Sets.  In the UK you can find the pencils here but if you take a look at Hochanda on Sunday, you may just find them being introduced as the One Day Special.

Climbing Clematis

On My Mind

Morning all. Where I’ve had a few days away from the computer I have so many things to share with you, so while I have a quick cuppa I thought I would make a start on sharing them with you.

Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils have added two 12 packs to the range. In the UK you will find the pencils here and they are launching soon in the USA on HSN.

For my first make I wanted to show how versatile the 12 packs can be…

There aren’t any skin tones in the packs but with some clever colour layering and a very whimsical image you can achieve a fabulous skin colour.

I am a little addicted to Z Fold cards at the moment.
