Office Shed–Little Claire Blog Project

Office Shed (7)

Morning All. It’s my turn to share a digi stamp project over on the Little Claire Blog today. I have used the Office Shed and Seed Packet digi stamps to create a Father’s Day card for my Dad

He will love this card as he really enjoys gardening but it’s also a little joke too, as just after Father’s Day he is helping me build a new shed as the current one that was here when we moved is falling apart a bit more everyday.

To see full details on how the card was made please hop over to the Little Claire Blog.

Supplies:

  • Image: Office Shed and Seed Packet digi stamps from Little Claire
  • Sentiment: Created in Word using Grandma’s Garden Font (available from www.dafont.com)
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
    • Shed: E18, E15, E13, E11, E39 and E33
    • Sign and door handle: B99, B95 and B91
    • Plant Pots: E29, E27, E25, E23 and E21
    • Spade: C9, C7, C5 and C3

Father’s Day at A Gem of a Challenge

  Andy with Frog (6)

Naughty blogger, this post was scheduled for 8am yesterday morning but it seems it never posted, so here goes.

Morning all. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend planned. We are off out today for lunch with some friends and their little boy and tomorrow I’m hoping for a crafty day.

Waffle over it’s time for a new challenge at A Gem of a Challenge this weeks theme is:

Father’s Day/For a Man

I’ve used one of Janet’s fabulous new Andy images Andy with Frog. Here is my card…

Andy with Frog (4)

My image has been coloured with ProMarkers. My papers are from the Simple Stories ‘Summer Fresh’ 6x6 pad. I’ve used dies from Memory Box and MFT. The sentiment is a magazine freebie and the scrabble tile stamps are from Whimsy. I’ve also used a blue doily from Dovecraft, some doodling with a black fineliner , a few tiny pearls (couldn’t resist even though it’s a mans card) and a touch of glitter glue.

A quick Less is More Card

Just a quick post from me as the morning sickness is back a bit today and I’m feeling a little bit rough. Here is a quick card I made using this weeks sketch over at Less is More:

Not my best card ever (by a long way) but I made it so I thought I would share it.

Sketch Time at Critters

IMG_6013Happy Monday. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. It was gorgeously Sunny here, so hot I had to find a spot in the shade, but I shouldn't complain we will probably back to rain in time for the Jubilee weekend.

It’s time for a new challenge over at Critter Sketch and this week we have another fabulous sketch by Colleen Spangler for you to follow:

I’ve used a cute little Digi from All That Scraps called Spring Kiki La Rue and coloured her with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers, with just a touch of Stickles and Liquid Pearls on the flowers and shoes.

My patterned papers are from Fancy Pants Summers End 6x6 pad and are mat and layered onto Bazzill Kraft Card and I’ve cut the bottom edge of both with a Tim Holtz Sizzix Wonky Scallop Border Die. The squares have been cut with Nesties (top left is actually a scrap of MME paper but I can’t remember which pad it is from). I’ve replaced the stars from the sketch with some Puffy Clouds cut with a Memory box die and the ribbon has been replaced with couple of MFT Flourishes and some MFT flowers die cut from orange felt (IRL they match the paper but the camera seemed to highlight them and make them look a lot brighter). And to finish just a few gems and pearls.

This little cutie is going to be my Nieces birthday card, she’s turns 18 in August but I don’t have any numbers that looked right, I have my eye on some number dies but I have spent a fair bit on stash this month so may have to save up some pennies before I can buy them. Oh well I’ve till August..lol.
