On My Mind

Morning all. Where I’ve had a few days away from the computer I have so many things to share with you, so while I have a quick cuppa I thought I would make a start on sharing them with you.

Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils have added two 12 packs to the range. In the UK you will find the pencils here and they are launching soon in the USA on HSN.

For my first make I wanted to show how versatile the 12 packs can be…

There aren’t any skin tones in the packs but with some clever colour layering and a very whimsical image you can achieve a fabulous skin colour.

I am a little addicted to Z Fold cards at the moment.

2016 in Review (Part 2)

Evening all! Well that was a shock to the system. First school runs of the year and to top it off the weather was freezing!

One of my first few projects after I joined the DT for Polkadoodles was this cute card using Winston Bear Heartfelt and my favourite make from July:

My favourite card(s) from September are these clean and simple (for me) cards. They were quite quick to make a little batch of, as they use digital elements from Polkadoodles’ Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun Download Collection:

Another month where Mr Mojo was running at 110%. There were quite a few cards I could have picked but this one stood out as I was so pleased with how the hair turned out. This is Aurora Prayer from The East Wind :

One of the few personalised Christmas cards I made this year was for my Mum and Dad and used this fabulous image Chilly in Love from Pink Gem Designs. This is my favourite make from November:

In a break from all the Christmas cards I coloured up some images that Nikky from Polkadoodles drew depicting the older lady….actually Old Bags…lol. This one is Revolting Kiss and is one of my favourite pieces of colouring for the year:

Aurora Prayer

Evening All. Just a quick post before I head off to bed.

The routine starts again tomorrow, after what has been a relaxed half term holiday’s full of migraines, icky bugs and things. At least we have Halloween tomorrow, we managed to get our Pumpkins carved!

Violet Pixie

Afternoon all! Would you believe it has taken me nearly all day to write two blog posts….between cuddling, administering Calpol and starting to feel a bit under the weather myself I don’t really seem to be able to concentrate on typing…lol!

Morning All! I have some very fabulous news today……I have joined the brand spanking new Crafts & Me Facebook Design Team. We’ll be bringing you challenges twice a month and the first one starts today so head on over to the Crafts & Me Facebook Group.
