Unicorn Gift

I’ve used Unicorn Hot Chocolate to make my gift bag:

And I heat embossed my die cut circle to make it super shiny.

Christmas Gifts

Hello all and happy Friday! It’s time for a brand new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and even though it’s Anything Goes the team are showing some creations on the theme of Gifts.

For my make today I’ve used the fabulous Festive Christmas Download Collection:

I’ve used papers and a sentiment from the collection and designed the money wallet myself using my scoreboard.

Toadstool Trinket Box

Morning all. I have another box to share with today and again these are using new goodies Crafter’s Companion are bringing to Hochanda on Thursday. The One Day Special is on Thursday at 6pm, make sure to tune in.

This time I was of inspired by a toadstool and made a trinket box in similar colours:

I’ve made a feature of the construction tabs by fold them onto the next panel and fixing them with 3D foam tape.

And a little close up of some the decorative panels.

Ombre Gift Box

Morning all. If you are anything like me you can make a box, but it takes a lot of working out and measuring to get it looking and fitting right, so you may want to check out some of the new goodies Crafter’s Companion are bring to Hochanda on Thursday.

The One Day Special is on Thursday at 6pm and here is a box I made using some of the dies and stamps that will be shown:

I inked the under panels and the flower petals with similar shades of Distress Oxides for an Ombre effect.

Evening All! We’ve just had a little Movie Monday afternoon and we watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. A Gift of Love

Evening All! Phew, thanks goodness it’s the weekend as this week has been a bit hectic. Especially having to get back into the routine of school runs!

So before I head of to the land of nod I have something really exciting to share…..well it is is for me as it’s a reminder from my childhood….Crafters Companion are releasing some new stamps on Hochanda next Wednesday (13th September) for the One Day Special and the new stamps are Holly Hobbie!!

My first make is and Apron Recipe/Note Holder and I have used the adorable (well they’re all adorable really) A Gift of Love:

I have seen something similar to this before but I’m not one for instructions or templates so I just took my score board and some scrap card and worked it out for myself…..pretty darn pleased with the results!

And this is the inside, the little pocket is for notes/recipes and the right hand side is for a message (if you make it as a gift).

Anything but a Card at Little Claire

Morning All. Half way through the week already! Before we know it Christmas will be upon us :-)

Nearly all my makes are Christmas cards at the moment, so for the new digi stamp challenge over on the Little Claire Blog I had to get my thinking cap on as the theme is Anything but a Card.

In the end I made a calendar as it’s a little gift that can be given at Christmas time. I’ve used the Birdhouse and Flowers Digital Stamp:

And such a sweet image suited some pretty paper and some simple embellishments.
