Winter Snowflakes

Morning all.

Good job I’ve had a few projects made in advance as I’ve been suffering really bad this week with Sinus Pain, Ear Pain and to top it off two migraines We have also been enjoying half term and trying to get ready a few decorations for Halloween.

Anyhoo, over at A Gem of a Challenge it’s the Pinks turn to host the challenge and we have a fabulous theme of ‘Snowflakes’. Unfortunately I didn’t get anything new made for this challenge, but I thought I would share a make from last Christmas that hasn't made it’s way onto the blog yet:

It’s Snowing

Evening all. As it’s the beginning of a new month we have a new challenge over at the All Dressed Up FB Group. Our theme for the month is Blue.

Here is my card using It’s Snowing:

I’ve used the no lines technique, so I printed out the image in a pale grey. Once coloured up I added a few of the details back in with a fine line pen (the eyes, mouth and the lettering). 

And I’ve used blue to shade the snowman….makes a change from grey!

I’ve added a stippled background by touching a cotton bud to the chisel end of the markers and then dotting over the background.

• DP: From my scraps (possibly Craft Creations)
• Card:Red Card and Blue Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
• Dies & Punches: Tonic Doily Border Punch and a MS Snowflake Border Punch (using the left over snowflakes)

Christmas Pudding

Afternoon all! What chilly day it’s been today. Now the school run is done we snuggled in the lounge with warm drinks

It’s time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell’s World Challenge and our theme this time around is Green and Gold. 

Ahhh, not a colour combo I would usually create with so I had to get the thinking cap on. I thought about a card for St Patricks Day but we don’t really celebrate it so in the end I went with a Christmas card…….I will get them made in time this year.

This is my card using Christmas Pudding:

Flowerpot Bow

Morning All. It’s time for another Digi Stamp Challenge over on the Little Claire Blog.  Our new theme is SHAPED CARDS and the lovely Gill from Little Claire has offered a wonderful prize for the winner of this challenge…… FIVE Little Claire Digi Stamp images of your choosing.

Here is my card using Flowerpot Bow:

I’ve gone for a scalloped circle card base and layered up plenty of die cut circles to frame the gorgeous digi.
