Joy and Peace of Christmas

Peace and Joy of Christmas (4)

Hello all and happy Friday!

I’m saying in again….. I’m determined to get my Christmas Cards finished ahead of time this year. And with that in mind here are some super quick and cute 5” square cards made using digi stamps and papers from the Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun Download Collection:

Peace and Joy of Christmas (2)

I’ve made them in a similar way to the cards I made on this post Christmas Blessings, just varying the colours and layout.

Most of the elements on the cards are digital, so to make the assembly a little quicker I like to add all the papers to MS Word and crop/resize so that I only print exactly what I need.

Peace and Joy of Christmas (1)

I have made one in very traditional colours and another in more modern colours, just to show the variety you get in the Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun Download Collection.

Hello from the Heart (2)

Happy Friday! Thank goodness it’s nearly the weekend it’s been a long week. Anyhoo, before I dash off to do the last school run of the week I thought I would pop on and share a little Polkadoodles sweetness today.

I fell in love with the Lily Bug Love Download Kit as soon as I saw it. The papers, theme and colours are just so me. Here’s my make:

Hello from the Heart (1)

Quite a simple layout from me, but rather a lot of fussy cutting……worth it though!

Ready, Steady, Go!

Runner (2)

Happy Saturday everyone! And first off a little apology….Mr Blogger isn’t playing so nice with me at the moment. My posts aren’t appearing when they should! Even when I post on the spot rather than schedule them it can still take hours, days even, for them to appear. Any one else having problems? I do have a WordPress account so it might be time to think about moving the blog!!

Anyhoo, I’m here to share a little Polkadoodles loveliness today. And it’s a little later in the week than normal as I waited until I had given it to the recipient……..not that she reads my blog though!  I’ve been having a play with the super adorable Female Runner Download.  It’s also part of the bigger Work & Play 12 collection but I wanted to make a birthday card specifically for someone who loves running and this little download was perfect. It has some matching papers as well!

Runner (1)

Now that Miss 3 is at Pre-School in the morning I’m doing the walk to school three times a day and it’s taking me a while to settle into the new routine. I had printed the uncoloured version of this image but just ran of time (and energy) so thank goodness the kit includes a pre-coloured digi!

Winnie Building Sandcastles

Winnie at the Beach (4)

Morning all. Thank goodness it’s nearly the weekend…..I’m shattered! Hubby has been away for a week, my eldest went back to school, the littlest started pre-school and my Dad has been helping me with a garden project that I nicknamed ‘Hard Labour. I need a rest now Smile

Anyhoo, it’s time for a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog, as always the challenge is anything goes but we’re all showing you some inspiration around the theme of ‘I do like to be beside the seaside’.

Winnie at the Beach (1)

I've used the wonderful Winnie Building Sandcastles digi stamp and merged it with the palm tree digi stamp that can be found on the Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles VIP XXL Download to create a scene.

I made the palm trees a light grey before printing so they sit in the back ground of the scene.

Winnie at the Beach (2)

I have coloured the scene with alcohol markers and simply mat and layered onto some green card and a tent fold card blank.
