Afternoon all. All this hot weather we have been having here in the UK  (and a bug) have left me feeling pretty drained and I can’t say that I’ve really wanted to be in my craft room. It hasn’t helped that I finally downloaded the Kindle App onto my tablet and I seem to have lost hours and hours reading one book after another…..beats housework anyway ;-)

The weather has cooled here slightly and I finally felt getting back to my craft room. I made this card using Strawberry Girl from Lia Stampz

Flower Girl

Morning All. Sorry I have been a bit quiet on on the blog for a while. We’ve had a holiday and since we got back the weather here on the South Coast has been so gorgeous the Children and I have been spending all our time outside. I have done a fair bit of crafting so have lot’s to share just don’t seem to have enough time to get on the computer and blog it.

Whimsy Stamps DT Call

Whimsy Inspiration – Watermelon

Just a quick post from me as I’ve been a bit poorly…again. With one bug after another the Doctor now thinks I have food poisoning! My poor immune system is in need of a holiday. I haven’t felt up to much crafting so thought I would post some of my recent makes.

This card uses Watermelon by Lia Stampz…

I’ve tried the no lines colouring technique with an actual stamp and inkpad before but not with a digi so thought I would give it a try. Using Microsoft Word I changed the colour to a pale grey before printing. I’m quite pleased with the result.

Girl Hug

Here is some inspiration using another of January’s gorgeous new Digi’s released by Whimsy Stamps.

This is the adorable Girl Hug by Lia Stampz….

I coloured the image with my ProMarkers and die cut using Nestability Labels 18.  The patterned paper is from an old Forever Friends 6x6 pad and the textured card is Core’dinations. The sentiment is from a Paula Pascual Personal Impressions set and is stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black Ink and the ‘hugs’ has been die cut with Die-namics by the letter dies.  I’ve kept the rest of the card quite simple, with some ribbon, bows, pearls, gems and a little touch of Stickles Glitter Glue.
