Foxer Upper

Foxer Upper (4)

Evening all! It’s the first Tuesday of the month and that means one thing…… Tiddly Tuesday! So over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog we want to see any Tiddly makes with the theme ‘Boys Boys Boys’!

I used the girl version of Foxer Upper  quite a while back and I thought it was about time I coloured up the little boy version….BTW you get both versions as part of the download!

Foxer Upper (2)

Mr 8’s favourite colour is green so I used that as inspiration for this card.

Foxer Upper Girl

Foxer Upper Girl (4)

Morning all. It’s time for another Fab Friday post over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog but sniff sniff boo hoo it’s my last DT card as our 4 month term finishes now. I’m really quite sad as I have had a wonderful time creating with Christy’s images and the lovely team of girls I’ve got to work with. I just have to keep my fingers (and toes) crossed as I have applied again for the next term.

Just over a week ago Christy teamed up with Paper Crafters Library and to coincide with the feature released a new image called Foxer Upper including both girl and boy images. I created a card using the girl version and was lucky enough to have it shown on the Paper Crafters Library Tiddly Inks Feature.

Here is the tag shaped card that I created, also using a sentiment from the Wryn New Wings set:

I’m a little late sharing my card with you as we’ve had problems with our internet connection. And it’s scary how lost I feel when I can’t get on the internet.

I’ve coloured the image with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers and used papers from my stash (the patterned paper was a magazine freebie).I’ve also used a Tonic Studios Border punch, a CC Designs 5 Petal Flower Cutter and some gems and pearls.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Get Well Soon at MAWTT

This is my second post today, please scroll down for my Paper Crafting Journey post.

This is my final post as GDT over at Moving Along with the Times and I just want to say thank you to the MAWTT girls for having me on board and making me feel very welcome.

The challenge this week is:

GET WELL SOON

IMG_5635

A few weeks back (before I was GDT ) I was lucky enough to win a challenge at MAWTT and my prize was a voucher to Crafty Emma’s Store. I used my voucher to buy these gorgeous My Minds Eye – Everyday Flair papers and thought the soft muted colours suited a ‘Get Well Soon’ theme. I’ve teamed it with the sweetest little image from Lili of the Valley (coloured with ProMarkers), an MFT border die, some Sizzix Framelits Star diecuts and a handwritten sentiment.

Please pop across to MAWTT to see the details of the prize on offer from this weeks sponsor Di’s Digi Downloads and also to see what the other GDT and DT have made.

See you again later for my Sarah Hurley challenge blog post.

Less is More – Week 35

Woohoo, after my holiday and a few other bits and pieces going on I sort of lost my LIM Mojo for a while (well my crafting Mojo in general really) but I think it’s coming back…slowly.

This week Chrissie and Mandy have set us the challenge to use the colour of our eyes. Mine are green…ish, I say this because my left eye has a brown bit in it (a bit the shape of a wedge in the Trivial Pursuit game). So for my card I have almost managed to use both:

Green Girl Card (1)

If you look close enough the plaits on the little girl are brown…lol.

The stamp is from Little Claire and has been coloured with ProMarkers. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft. I think they make a good combination and this card could be used for Get Well or Sympathy.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lisa

Items: 5x5 white card blank, stamp from Little Claire, Sentiment from Kaisercraft, ProMarkers, Green Memento Inkpad, Glossy Accents, Stickles and adhesive gems from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Less is More

My hubby really doesn't like 'fussy cards' and much prefers when I add as little as possible to my cards (serves me right for asking his opinion I suppose lol) so when I came upon the Less is More Challenge blog I thought I might give it a try.  I really enjoyed having a go as it gives you a bit more freedom to get inky and stamp rather than spending time deciding what DP goes with that DP, which card candy to use, etc, etc, and stamping has always been my favourite part. This card is for my Mum who had a knee replacement last Monday and is a bit immobile and in need of some cheering up, I've bought some flower seeds to go inside the card as I know she'll be chomping at the bit to get back to the Greenhouse when she's back on her feet.

Items: Square 5" Cream Card Blank, Versa Magic in Thatched Straw and Persimmon, Perfect Pearls (a pinky one but forgot to note the name - oops), stamps both from Little Claire, and just a few dots on the flowers using Sakura Metallic pens in orange and gold.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Less is More Challenge - Off the Edge
One Stop Craft Challenge - Clean and Simple
The Stamp Man Challenge  - Floral Theme
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Little Claire  - Flowers

Thanks for looking at my card I would love it if you left me a comment (if I know who stops by I can come and visit in return).
