I used really pale aqua papers and watercoloured the image for a soft look.

I combined the image, sentiment and snowflakes digitally before printing.

Summer Flower

Fun in the Sun

Afternoon all. We had a busy day yesterday as it was Miss 4’s Preschool Sports Day and the Preschools 10th Birthday Celebrations. So I had a lazy evening watching Bridget Jones Baby. And after a little lie in and lazy lunch I’m about to get crafty, but first I thought I would share another sneaky peak.

There are new Cherry Green stamps that will be launching on Hochanda on 26th July and today I have another make to show you, this time a phone case:

I stamped the image onto tissue paper and very carefully coloured it with Spectrum AquaBlend Pencils, using only the teeny tiniest amount of water to Blend the Colours.

I then very carefully stuck the coloured tissue paper into the phone case with a generous amount o Ranger Glossy Accents.

Listen to Nature

Morning all! We are almost at the Weekend and I have one last make from yesterdays Crafters Companion show on Hochanda to share with you.

The show was for some new stamps designed by Stacey Barrass.  two floral sets ‘Perfect Peony’ and ‘Beautiful Bloom’, two sets with birds ‘Little Birdie’ and ‘Find Your Wings’ and two sentiments sets ‘In Full Bloom’ and ‘Better Together’

This is one of the cards I have made with the stamp set ‘Find Your Wings’

A very neutral colour on this one, which I coloured with just the Essentials set of AquaBlend pencils.

The background was made by painting dots of masking fluid onto the card, before washing with bands of colour. Some doodling, clear sparkle and embossing were added to.

Love Never Fails

Morning all! Today’s the day the new Crafters Companion stamps are on Hochanda. They have been designed by Stacey Barrass and there are two floral sets ‘Perfect Peony’ and ‘Beautiful Bloom’, two sets with birds ‘Little Birdie’ and ‘Find Your Wings’ and two sentiments sets ‘In Full Bloom’ and ‘Better Together’

This is one of the cards I have made with the stamp set ‘Beautiful Bloom’

This time I stamped and heat embossed the images with platinum embossing powder, before watercolouring with the AquaBlend Pencils

This was just using the Essentials set, so I used the coral tones for a vintage/muted look.

Earth Music

Morning all! The Easter Break is over so it’s back to the routine of school runs and things today.

So with a quick cuppa in hand before the hustle and bustle starts I thought I would pop on and share another make with the new stamps Crafters Companion are bringing to Hochanda on Thursday.

If you didn’t see yesterday’s post they are designed by Stacey Barrass and there are two floral sets ‘Perfect Peony’ and ‘Beautiful Bloom’, two sets with birds ‘Little Birdie’ and ‘Find Your Wings’ and two sentiments sets ‘In Full Bloom’ and ‘Better Together’

This is one of the cards I have made with the stamp set ‘Find Your Wings’

I love those feathery wings! 

I have watercoloured this one using Spectrum Noir AquaBlend pencils. I’ve just use the Essentials Set of AquaBlend pencils and although it was a challenge I love the earthy/natural look it has given to the image.   

Originally I had the image against a white background but it looked a little too stark, so I created some light stripes with pencils and dragged the colour with a Clear Sparkle Pen.

And the background bird for the sentiment was stamped in pale grey ink and the coloured pulled in with a waterbrush.
