Meribelle Housework

Meribelle Housework (2)

Hello everyone. Hope your week is going well. I’m off enjoying my holibobs! So to keep this blog ticking over here is a little Polkadoodles magic!

You may have seen a little peak at this make on FB a while back when the Meribelle images were introduced, but somehow I missed blogging it. So without further ado, here is Meribelle Housework:

Meribelle Housework (10)

Such a stunner of an image didn’t need anything to fancy with it. So I have made an easel card with the top panel just the image mat and layered and then just a bit and bobs on the bottom stopper.

Meribelle Housework (5)

The base of the easel uses a paper from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles VIP Bundle.

Supplies:

  • Image: Meribelle Housework from Polkadoodles
  • Colouring Medium: Copics and watercolours for the background
  • DP: Papers from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles VIP Bundle printed on White Linen Cardstock
  • Card: Yellow Card, Black Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Dies & Punches: Britannia Dies Leaf Flourish and Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Flower Dies
  • Embellishments: Pearl Heart, Pearl Pen and Glossy Accents

Etty Shy Bear (3)

Hello all and happy Friday. My littlest stayed at my mums yesterday so me and Mr 6 so could have time together to do some more grown up things. We had great fun playing with watercolours and looking at different papers. We also went to the cinema and  watched Finding Dory last night which was really good (for me and Daddy to!).

Enough waffle, I’m posting because we have a new challenge starting over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. As usual it’s an Anything Goes challenge but the team are showing you some ways to add texture to your projects.

Here is my make use Etty Shy and papers from Winston Deluxe Full Download Collection:

I've used texture paste and a stencil on two corners of the patterned paper and a piece piece of cheesecloth

Pretty Meribelle

Meribelle Pretty (3)

Morning All! Hope you are all well. We are enjoying the summer holidays, we been lying in, making things, watching films and general making the most of no routine. The last couple of days though Mr 6 has been staying with my sister and Miss 3 with my parents (she’ll only stay at Nanny’s lol) so I have had a couple of peaceful (crafty) days but I sure miss them and can’t wait for lot’s of hugs tomorrow.

Today is the half way point in the current Polkadoodles Anything Goes challenge and over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog we have some more inspiration for you.

This is my make and I really think I need to get some help with my Mermaid addiction! I have coloured up another one…..hehe. This little cutie is Meribelle Pretty:

Meribelle Pretty (6)

I’ve again teamed her up with some fabulous papers from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles VIP Bundle

Meribelle Pretty (5)

There are loads of fabulous pre-coloured embellishments in the download, but none of them quite matched my colours. No problem though as the kit also has black and white elements, so I coloured the shells to match.
