Mini Mermaids

Mini Mermaid (3)

Morning All! It’s a big old exciting day today and my nephew and his fiancĂ©e are getting marries Smile I have made the bride a little gift and once it’s received  will share some pictures.

Anyhoo, back to the important bit….. it’s Fab Friday over at Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

A couple weeks back Christy released the super cute Amy and her Mini Mermaid Friends and I was super quick colouring them all in….so quick that’s it’s my coloured images on the shop page (something that I’m truly amazed by).

I’ve been sat looking at the coloured images a while not actually wanting to create with them as they look too cute just as they are. In the end I decided to make all 6 images into a little set of tags and here is the first:

Mini Mermaid (2)

Had to add a little sparkle to her hair and my favourite die of the moment is on show again! Just love that it looks like seaweed.

Hello Sailor

Meribelle Hello Sailor (4)

Morning all! Hope everyone is well. It’s a bit hectic here with my eldest home from school, our routine is out of the window, but me and Miss 3 love having more time with him.

Anyhoo, back to today’s post and I have some more inspiration to fuel my mermaid addiction. This is another Meribelle image from Polkadoodles. Meet Meribelle Hello Sailor…..

Meribelle Hello Sailor (3)

I’ve become a little addicted to water colour backgrounds as well. Just as well though as it seems to suit the underwater/mermaid images really well.

Meribelle Hello Sailor (1)

With an image that awesome it didn’t need a lot of frills. So I’ve gone simple on the layout. And just a die that reminds me of seaweed and a couple real shells. Ooh the papers are from Polkadoodles too…….there the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles VIP Bundle (which I must have a bit bigger play with Winking smile).

Today is my first challenge as part of the team and we have a wonder theme of ‘Summertime’.

I had to use this little cutie from Saturated Canary as she reminds me so much of my littlest one. This is Jelly Bug and I’ve used some nice bright summery colours as well.

Summertime Butterfly

Fruit Punch Butterfly (3)

Me again lol! And if you’re really lucky I may be back with a little surprise later!! Anyhoo, this post is to share the new challenge we have over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog where our theme is Summertime.

For my card I have used lovely soft summery colours and I have made another one without a coloured image ……. that’s two recently and I really liked how this one turned out.

The butterfly embellishments on the Winnie Fruit Punch Big Bundle Download are so pretty I just knew I had to make a card with one of them as the focus:

Fruit Punch Butterfly (2)

I have printed the butterfly three times, the first two I left whole and the third I used only the top wings. Layering them up and curling the wings ever so slightly it just a little dimension.

Winston Bear–Heartfelt

Winston Bear Heartfelt (1)_thumb

Hello all. It’s been a bit quiet this week on my little old blog. First a migraine and now some sort of flu thing has made me a right miserable bunny….not even felt like crafting so I know I’ve been poorly!!

Luckily I had this little make all ready just to glue together. And thanks to Mr Paracetamol and plenty of hot drinks I managed to get it done.

Now if you know me you know I could happily sit for hours on end colouring (and I do some weekends) but not everything makes it to a card. This cute little Winston Bear Heartfelt was just too adorable not to get used on a project:

Winston Bear Heartfelt (2)_thumb[1]

I haven’t taken the Animal Class over at Kit & Clowder so instead I thought I’d try using the same flicking technique I learnt for hair in the Skin and Hair Class……I really like how he turned out.

Supplies:

Winston Bear Heartfelt (4)_thumb[1]

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and if I can can stop coughing and sneezing long enough I’ll try and pop back later with another couple of recent makes that I just haven’t felt up to sharing yet.
