Let’s Bake!

Apple Berry (3)

Morning All! It’s my turn to share some Elisabeth Bell love over on the Digi Bells Blog today. I’m starting to make a recipe/baking book and I thought Apple Berry was the perfect image to use:

Apple Berry (2)

My style is bouncing all over the place at the moment I think it’s just how the mood takes me as I sit down to craft and as you can see I was in a frou frou mood when I made this one (well for me anyway!).

I liked the font on the chipboard letters but they were cork effect and didn’t match so I coloured them with a marker and doused them in glitter!!

Supplies:

  • Image: Apple Berry by Elisabeth Bell
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Red, Blue, White and Kraft Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Dies & Punches: Hobbycraft Heart Punch, Go Kreate Frilly Frames #10 Dies, Spellbinders Plain Circle Dies and Cutlery Dies from Whiff of Joy
  • Embellishments: Doodling, Doily (covered in paint), Glitter Glue, Flower Trim, Jute Mesh, Ribbon Bow, Pearls, Paper Flowers and Glitter Glue.

Whatcha Doing?

Whatcha Doing (5)

Morning All, it’s time for Tiddly Tuesday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and we have a new challenge for you. Our theme this time around is Let’s Get Krafty, which is a big hurrah from me as I love to use Kraft card on my makes.

I originally made this card for our last challenge but my little triangles under the main image looked to0 much like a square (the challenge was no squares allowed!!) so I made another card knowing I could use this one for this challenge instead.

Daisy Daisy…

Daisy (3)

Give me your answer do….!!  Haha I think this cold medicine is getting to me.

Anyhoo, afternoon everyone it’s time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell’s World Challenge and our theme this time around is a nice and easy Happy Birthday.

I use so many digi stamps now that I forget that my love of Elisabeth Bell artwork started many many moons ago with this adorable stamp Daisy that I bought from Sugar Nellie, unfortunately she is no longer available but she sure is a cutie.

Here is my card:

Daisy (2)

I’m loving the no-lines colouring technique at the moment but I’m not too happy with her eye and I coloured a bit I shouldn’t so she now has a massive neck!! I really should get in the habit of having a black lines version next to me as I colour…it would make things a little bit easier.

Daisy (4)

Supplies:

  • Image: Daisy from Elisabeth Bell  (from Sugar Nellie/Funky Kits but now retired)
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Kraft and blue card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Dies & Punches: Hobbycraft Heart Punch and Clearly Besotted ‘Happy’ and ‘Birthday’ word dies.
  • Embellishments: Doodling, Gems and Glitter Glue

To play along just head over to Elisabeth Bell’s World Challenge Blog for the full details and also see the creations from my fabulous team mates!

Morning All. I’m hoping for a better day today as yesterday was the kind of day I shouldn’t have bothered coming out from under the duvet. Headaches, cut fingers, downpours on the school run and little ones bumping there heads Sad smile

Anyhoo, it’s time for Tiddly Tuesday over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and we have a new challenge for you. Our theme this time around is Don’t Be Square (no squares aloud at all!!). I’ve made another Christmas card for my stash using the adorable Mavis Christmas:

Bite Me!

Vamp Me (4)

Morning all. All that keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed has paid off as I’m very lucky and honoured to be joining the Tiddly Inks Girls for another 4 month stint….whoop whoop….happy dance Smile

Anyhoo, the point of my post is that it’s time for another Fab Friday post over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

I love to make cards with my Tiddlys but up until now one hasn’t made it into my journal. Well all that has changed with this fabulous image Vamp Me.  I’m reading the Sookie Stackhouse books at the moment (I’m on book 10 of 13) and watching the TV series based on them (True Blood) so I thought this would be perfect for a journal page.

Vamp Me (3)

When I think of vampires I think of rich colours and old things, leather furniture, stuff like that so I thought this embossed background suited the image perfectly.

Supplies:

  • Image: Vamp Me from Tiddly Inks
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Purple, red and white card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Ink: Dusty Concord Distress Inkpad
  • Dies, Punches & Embossing Folders: Go Kreate Large Circle Dies and Couture Creations Tied Together Embossing Folder
  • Embellishments: Lace, Ribbon, Pom Pom Trim, Pearls and Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers

Goggles

Goggles (1)

Morning all! Well we had a gorgeous day yesterday and today’s is looking to be pretty nice as well. My prediction about the weather improving when the children returned to school looks to be coming true!!!

Anyhoo, it’s my turn on the Digi Bells Blog today and I’ve I’ve coloured up one of Elisabeth’s newest digis Goggles:

Goggles (3)

As you can see, apart from colouring this cute digi up with a beach scene as a background, the only other thing I have done is mat and layer onto some teal card. That’s because I’m not sure what I’m going to turn this cutie into! He may end up in my colouring journal or I think he would like nice popped onto a calendar.

Supplies:

  • Image: Goggles from Elisabeth Bell
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Teal Card and X-Press It Blending Card

Right, that’s my tea break over, thank for stopping by
