Morning All. It’s time for Tiddly Tuesday! Did you see the new wedding images Christy released a few weeks back? There are so darn romantic that I had to colour this one up and although I don’t know anyone getting married at the moment, I thought I would make a wedding card to keep in my stash.

As it’s Tiddly Tuesday it means we have a new challenge and our theme for the next fortnight is Easel Cards! Here is my card using Love You Mostest:

I Love You This Much

I Love You (3)

Afternoon all! By the time you read this we should have arrived at out little holiday and hopefully being enjoying a little sunshine. Fingers crossed the weather men did predict a little sunshine for Bank Holiday Monday!

Anyhoo, enough waffle. It’s time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell’s World Challenge and I get to play along as a Guest Digi Bell. Our theme this time around is Flowers. Hurrah, I love flowers!!

This little cuties is a favourite of mine and she is called I Love You this Much! And if you click on the link you can find her in Elisabeth’s Digital Collection. Here is my card:

I Love You (5)

After I picked my papers I thought I would try colouring the images in more pastel tones. Since I’ve been learning shading, depth, cast shadows, etc., over at Kit & Clowder my colouring seems to always be quite bold and bright hence trying out some pastel tones on this one.

My flowers are on the DP and the embellishments. The gorgeous roses were created with the MFT Mini Royal Rose Die.

Supplies:

  • DP: First Edition ‘Daydream’ 6x6 Paper Pad
  • Card: Kraft Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Stamps: Personal Impressions Double Sayings Stamp Set
  • Dies & Punches: Spellbinder Floral Oval Dies, Go Kreate Frilly Frames #2 Dies, MFT Mini Royal Roses, CC Designs Leaf Dies and a Hobbycraft Mini Tag Punch
  • Embellishments: Beads, Hessian Ribbon, Pearl Trim, Butterfly Charm and Gems

To play along just head over to Elisabeth Bell’s World Challenge Blog for the full details and also see the creations from my fabulous team mates!

Wedding Bells (6)

Morning All. Did you see the post title?? Whoop whoop whoop, when I entered Tiddly Inks DT call I didn’t imagine for one minute that I would actually get chosen. My luck was in  and I got picked to join the team. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am :-)

Here is my first post for Fabby Friday and I’m sharing one of the new digi stamps that Christy released on Tuesday. This one’s called Wedding Bells. It comes with and without a veil, so is perfect for Engagement, Valentines and all sorts of cards as well as Wedding Cards.

Wedding Bells (4)

I coloured the background with my Copics and tried to make the little clouds heartshaped. I love lot’s of white space on wedding cards, so to stop it looking too plain I’ve used a lovely Sizzix Heart embossing folder.

  • Colouring Medium: Copics
    • Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000 and R20
    • Hair:E49, E39, E37, E35 and E33 & Black, C7, C5, C3 and B60
    • From Memory will update the rest when I find my list!!
  • Card: Neenah White Card, Pink Pearl Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Ink: Broken China Distress Ink
  • Sentiment: Written on Microsoft Word
  • Dies, Punches & Embossing Folders: Spellbinder Plain and Scalloped Circle Dies, X-Cute Square Punch and Sizzix Heart Embossing Folder
  • Embellishments: Paper Flowers and a Sparkly Heart

Monochrome at Little Claire

Man Squares (4)

Morning All. It’s time for another Digi Stamp Challenge over on the Little Claire Blog and our new theme is Monochrome.

Here is my card using the Man Squares Digi Stamp:

Man Squares (6)

I said the same last month but easel cards are hard to photograph, but I love making them!! It was Hubby’s Birthday on Sunday and he doesn’t really like the cute cards I make so I thought this image would be perfect for him.

Here is a close up of the top:

Man Squares (3)

I had a little play this time and I think you can just about see that I created the background by repeating the image on a page in Word, before printing onto coloured cardstock. After I printed the main image I cut it apart so that it would fit the sentiment/layout better.

Supplies:

  • Image: Man Squares Digi Stamp from Little Claire
  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Neenah White Card, Aqua Pearlescent Card and Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Stamps: Sentiment is a Little Claire circular stamp A Tiny Little Birthday Wish but it is also available in digi format here
  • Ink: Archival ‘Jet Black’ Inkpad
  • Dies & Punches: Star Punch, MS Zig-Zag Border Punch and Spellbinders Plain and Pinking Circle Dies.
  • Embellishments: Hobbycraft Alpha Letters

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
