Henry Playing Drums

Morning All. Not quite sure whether or not I’m coming down with a cold :-( The children have both got one and I although I don’t feel bad I feel a little achy and shivery. So I’ve told hubby that’s a good excuse to forgot the housework today!!

I have been quite a busy little bee in my craft room but I have photographed anything yet. Instead I thought I would share with you another creation made using another fabulous Henry stamp from Whiff of Joy’s Spring Stamp Kit. It’s too late to late to receive the Spring Kit but follow the link in my side bar for details of how to subscribe to future kits. They really are fabulous value for money as you get image, sentiment and embellishment stamps.

I made this as a Valentine’s card using one of my favourite colour combos red and blue…

Giggle Fairy

Morning All. Hope you all had a good weekend! After a tiring day at the craft show and with the miserable rain outside I spent a wonderful afternoon getting crafty and playing with some of my new stash. I didn’t actually finish a card, just made a good old mess so in true Blue Peter style here is one I made earlier…

This card was my valentines card for hubby and uses the cute Giggle Fairy from Some Odd Girl. He’s not really into pink but he doesn’t mind because he knows I am ;-) I’ve also made my favourite rolled flowers from a circle punch.
Supplies:
  • Image: Giggle Fairy from Some Odd Girl
  • Colouring Medium: ProMarkers
  • DP: Crate Paper ‘Random’ 6x6 Paper Pad
  • Card: Pink card from stash and Joanna Sheen Elegance Ice White 300gsm
  • Dies & Punches: Spellbinders Floral Ovals, Speech Bubbles from Whiff of Joy, flourish die and circle punch
  • Embellishments: Glitter, Hessian, Washi Tape from Ikea, old beads from a broken necklace, gems and doodling with a Pigma Micron Pen

Happy Sunday All. Hope everyone is well. I was a lucky girl yesterday as Hubby took me to the Make-It show in Farnborough as an early birthday treat. I spent too much but I got some fabulous bargains, including some bits and bobs from Anna Marie Designs, Little Claire and Samuel Taylors. Plus I finally got a melt pot and I can’t wait to have a play.

    Alannah & Snowball

Hi All, hope you are all well. I had this little cutie ready to share a few days ago but a nasty Migraine crept up on me and I’m only just getting back to normal! My vision is a little bit off still so I hope the pictures look OK to you ;-)

This is my first Christmas card made in 2014 (I’m determined to get a head start this year!) and this uses the adorable Alannah & Snowball from StampArt by Kathryne. This little cutie was part of the February release, but be sure to stop back at 5pm today as we will be showcasing the new March Digi Releases…

I think these papers were a Freebie with a magazine but I really love the colours on them so I used silver/blue card and embellishments for the rest of the card. And I used a ProMarker to colour one of the silver mats blue…
