A new challenge started on Saturday at A Gem of a Challenge and it is my turn to host. I picked a theme of Mother’s Day (or birthday for a special lady) and this is the card I made my Mum for Mother’s Day using Bella with Flowers

Ashlan Valor Tangles Blog Hop

Hi Everyone and Welcome to our special Ashlan Valor Tangles Showcase blog hop!

Today we are showcasing a collection of beautifully hand drawn Tangles by artist Lori St. Clair.

Tangles are a relaxing, contemplative, non-objective art form that permits a viewer to enjoy every opportunity for imagination and inspiration to swell as the image before them unfolds. You discover what a creative moment holds when you share in the process of letting it lead your imagination through the intimate details it possesses.

Tangles touch each individual personally. Share one with someone you want to touch in an extraordinary way. To quote Lewis Carroll: “When you are describing, a shape, or sound, or tint; Don’t state the matter plainly, but put it in a hint; And learn to look at all things, with a sort of mental squint.”

All Whimsy Stamps digital images are 300dpi for high print quality. You can re-size, flip, or rotate to fit your own project.

Here is my creation (a tag) using Glorious Pagentry…

I used the cracked glass technique to create a vintage style tag.

To find all of Ashlan Valor Tangles images please visit the Whimsy Stamps Store.

      Alannah & Snowball

Hi All, hope you are all well. I had this little cutie ready to share a few days ago but a nasty Migraine crept up on me and I’m only just getting back to normal! My vision is a little bit off still so I hope the pictures look OK to you ;-)

This is my first Christmas card made in 2014 (I’m determined to get a head start this year!) and this uses the adorable Alannah & Snowball from StampArt by Kathryne. This little cutie was part of the February release, but be sure to stop back at 5pm today as we will be showcasing the new March Digi Releases…

I think these papers were a Freebie with a magazine but I really love the colours on them so I used silver/blue card and embellishments for the rest of the card. And I used a ProMarker to colour one of the silver mats blue…
