I had such a lovely crafty weekend, got some chores done this morning and whilst Elliot has his afternoon nap thought I would take the opportunity to blog my second Mothers Day card, this time it's the one I made for my Mum.  I've used one of my new LOTV stamps that I picked up at the NEC using the lovely LOTV gift voucher hubby had bought me for my birthday. I really like this image, the beautiful bunch of flowers means it can be used on so many card occasions...

Just Magnolia...

It's late on Sunday now and I've had a lovely weekend and Mother's Day. I've made a few ATC's, a few cards, tidied up some of my stash and had a general play with the goodies I picked up last weekend at the NEC.

OMG addictive or what?

I’m taking part in the ATC swaps over on Crafty Mess, and I love it! I’ve not really made proper ATC’s before just things that look a bit like them…lol…where I have tried out techniques to see what I like/what works before using it on a card. Last night I made a start on my ATC’s for the April Swap where the theme is ‘Girly’, one down two more to go, and I can’t wait to make the others later on today.  It’s a great way of using up scraps, trying something new and generally just getting inky and having a play.

Card for my Nephew

Whoa, get me...my second post in a day! Reason being that I am going to stay with Mum and Dad for a few days to help out after her knee op so needed to get several cards made all in one go. This card is for my Nephew's 21st Birthday on Thursday.  It's in complete contrast to the card in my last post which was Less is More. I'm not that happy with the 21. I had to go freehand as I couldn't find the stamps I wanted to use, they have been AWOL since January when I made a 21st card for another of my Nephews...my craft room sure does need a tidy ;-)
